Shoeshop of lifeI walk through the shoe shop of life And take in all those around me. People with broken shoes, Looking for new ones to cradle their feet again.Shoeshop of life
I look around at the fading laugh lines On the people’s faces And their bruised and swollen feet Bare on the hard, cold floor.
My eyes wander down to my own foundations, Soft and clean, Wrapped in the finest leather And cradled by the softest soles.
I think back to my own shoe collection - Each shoe special for its own style and design,
Created by someone so gifted, To cradle and fit m

You're left in the world smothered by hate
but you don't know the truth about your own fate
You think you've done wrong but it's their fault, not yours
they've blamed it on you put blood on your paws
Hated you for nothing they took your hopes and dreams replaced them with fear,
nightmares and screams
Some just ignore it but others fight for you some can't be bothered but my love is true
